Summer with Cash Genie!

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

After months and months of wind, rain and snow we are finally entering the summer months and we will soon be enjoying the heat wave that comes with it. Summer is arguably the best time of the year, with the sun, warm weather and the chance to spend more time out in the open socialising it’s almost impossible to not be in a good mood in this season.

Now that summer is here we can all begin to disperse to the beaches to soak up the sun and top up our tans; socialise late in to the night with friends and family at gatherings and barbecues, and we can now begin to buy summer clothes and put away the coats, scarves and jumpers that we’ve been forced in to wearing throughout the cold snap.

Don’t be worried about the burden that your finances may be stretched during these months as Cash Genie will still be around to supply you with a financial top up if your funds run low until your next payday. With short term loans ranging from £75-£750 you can be safe in the knowledge that you’ll be able to pay any expenses that occur during these crazy next few months basked in the sun! However, we do stress that you should not see Cash Genie as a long-term solution to your finances.

Cash Genie hopes you enjoy your summer!

Cash Genie Joins Affiliate Window

Friday, May 28th, 2010

Cash Genie, the United Kingdom short-term loan lender, has joined the affiliate network Affiliate Window to expand its presence on the web further. In doing so we at Cash Genie aim to reach even more would-be clients who find themselves in a temporary financial crisis; who need the money too quickly to go through the process of a bank loan; and need to take out a short term loan.
By using Affiliate Window Cash Genie can increase its brand awareness by having links and banners over a multitude of various host websites. When a potential lead is directed to the Cash Genie website – www.cashgenieloans.co.uk – the website it is directed from will be paid a commission for each lead that meets our lending criteria and has a loan with our company deposited in to their account.

Cash Genie offers affiliates who join our programme a flat rate of £12 however, until the 1st of July we are paying £15 per conversion.

We at Cash Genie have an efficient and quick-working Processing team, which means that you will have your leads converted quickly.  Also, as Cash Genie is a relatively newer company than some of its competitors and has a smaller database there is less chance of having a duplicated lead meaning more chance of having a successful conversion.

For more information you can contact Cash Genie’s Affiliate Manager Scott Peters at s.peters@cashgenie.co.uk, or by visiting clicking here to visit our Affiliate Window Page.

CashGenie.co.uk is live!

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

The website http://www.cashgenie.co.uk has gone live! Cash Genie UK, the short term loan provider, has recently launched a new website, which looks to receive more visitors than the previous cashgenieloans. The quirky genie logo is still used, but emphasised by becoming a central figure on the homepage inviting customers to apply for a loan.

A new website design and layout has been adopted to optimise the amount of traffic to the application form. This is shown through the sidebar, representing a small ‘snippit’ of the application form. By just filling in a name, address and loan amount customers are directed to the application form to make the process easier and more convenient for customers to apply for a loan. The Cash Genie brand and logo has been emphasised to increase awareness and ‘stickability’ in consumer’s minds. The company is a new starter in the market but is already looking like an established player in the industry. In a previous article on www.cashgenieblog.co.uk, Cash Genie stated that they aim to become as close as they can to a generic brand;

“Soon, it will not be called a short-term loan customers ask for, it will simply be called a Cash Genie loan!”

Cash Genie UK have created www.cashgenie.co.uk, to enable customers to easily remember the web address in relation to the company name. The company can now advertise the site on the web as CashGenie rather than CashGenieLoans. Even if this does not produce a lot more traffic for the company, it is good branding and market advertising which should produce an increasing amount of sales. If customers/advertisers wish to find further information regarding Cash Genie, please contact b.waters@cashgenie.co.uk.

Cash Genie is an online based lender of short-term loans. The loans range from £75 – £750 and can be deposited in customer’s bank accounts on the same day as the application. Visit: http://www.cashgenie.co.uk

Cash Genie Launches Twitter Account

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

Cash Genie, the short term loan lender, has set-up a Twitter account to further promote their brand and get closer to customers. The company offers short-term loans between £75 – £750 and offers a creative, fun, welcoming Twitter page for customers to visit and relate to the Cash Genie brand.

Twitter is taking the business world by storm, it has been ranked in the top 50 most popular websites worldwide and has over 55 million monthly visits. Companies are using the social networking site to promote their business and reach out to a large audience. For a company like Cash Genie, Twitter is the perfect solution to broadcast its friendly recognisable brand.

Cash Genie’s green Genie logo is displayed on the Twitter account and has been duplicated to emphasise the image and make it stick in consumer’s minds. Balancing fun, friendly ‘tweets’ such as..

“I think the facebook blue compliments my handsome features on my fan page. Check me out on the link below on my profile!”

….with relevant informative links to articles, blogs, money saving advice and company promotion, it creates a welcoming page and icon which customers can relate to and gain information from.

Cash Genie, like any company, has primarily set up a Twitter account to increase business and to further advertise the brand; after all it is free advertising. The Twitter page can be found at:

http://twitter.com/Cash_Genie

All companies will try and make their page different to others to increase the amount of followers in the hope that their page will increase sales. The more followers a company possess, the wider the promotion campaign and the higher possibility of a sale. Cash Genie has adopted a simplistic yet creative approach to advertise the company on Twitter. Details of the short term loan lender are provided stating that “Need Cash Fast? Borrow £75 to £750 INSTANTLY, paid into your bank account same day”, however the company does not spam the page and is discreet about the service they provide. Customers do not want to be relaxing and browsing Twitter pages to be bombarded with adverts for a short-term loan provider.

All posts, articles, blogs and offers Cash Genie ‘tweet’ on their page are obviously going to be in favour of the short-term loan industry, but customers can also find out about random news articles that ‘the Cash Genie’ finds interesting. This adds a humorous friendly appeal to the company and also promotes a realistic image representing that the company can relate to customers, and is on the same level as them. Offers and promotions are posted on the Twitter page, and some are exclusively for Twitter followers.

Cash Genie uses the Twitter account to link to the company’s new blog service (http://www.cashgenieblog.co.uk), which informs users of news articles surrounding the company and allows Twitter followers to get a better understanding of the short-term loan provider. Currently, the Cash Genie blog is promoting the launch of the company and new achievements, for example ‘Cash Genie launches partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation’.

Twitter is used by Cash Genie to promote the company to a wider audience and better relate to their customers. Cash Genie is able to place their brand in consumers’ minds and promote a fun, welcoming yet informative image. A perfect balance, to further boost short-term loan applications at http://www.cashgenieloans.co.uk.

Who Can Apply For a Cash Genie loan?

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

Cash Genie, the short term loan lender, has set out criteria on who can apply for a Cash Genie short-term loan. The responsibility of Cash Genie and the customer is also mentioned, ensuring a responsible lending policy. More information can be found at http://www.cashgenieloans.co.uk/responsible-lending.php.

It is always confusing how to apply for a loan purely based online and who can apply for it. Technology is so fast nowadays that application checks can be completed in real-time online, meaning companies can see whether customers fit the relevant criteria. Cash Genie makes sure that it is easy and convenient for customers to apply online. If customers want a short-term loan with Cash Genie, then a few criteria must be met to qualify. But customers should not be alarmed, most applications meet the basic criteria:

Customers must be 18 or over
Are employed
Earn at least £500 per month
Be a UK resident
Have a current bank account with a debit card

Cash Genie welcome homeowners, council tenants, private tenants, housing association tenants or people living with parents. Cash Genie also does not undertake a credit check on customers, however does help people with good or bad credit history. The company will check that customers live where they say they do, but will not undertake a full credit check. This makes processing the loan much faster, to have the cash in customers’ banks almost instantly. Taking a loan with Cash Genie can boost customer’s credit rating if the short-term loan is paid back on time, if not then a customer’s credit rating may fall.

Cash Genie takes the responsibility to not lend to people who can not pay it back. This is all for customer wellbeing and safety as the company does not want its clients to get into debt. It is in Cash Genie’s best interest to make sure customers can pay the loan back to ensure a good relationship is maintained the payment is received on customer’s paydays. However customers are urged not to borrow money from Cash Genie if they are considering Debt Management, IVA’s or Bankruptcy.

The purpose of short term loans is to act as a solution to temporary cash flow problems; it is not intended for sustained borrowing over long periods. Cash Genie do as much as they can to ensure clients do not borrow more than they can afford to pay back, however it is customer’s responsibility that this does not occur so they do not fall into debt. Cash Genie urges customers to think carefully before taking out a loan and ensure that they are able to repay the total outstanding balance on the due date.

In conclusion, Cash Genie monitors all applications and select customers for approval who meet the set qualification criteria. The Cash Genie service team will process the loan the same day as application and customers are able to have the loan amount in their account the same day. If customers are unsure about whether they can apply for a loan, contact processingteam@cashgenie.co.uk.

Cash Genie starts partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

Cash Genie is delighted to announce that the company has just recently started a partnership with the UK charity Starlight Children’s foundation.

Starlight have been brightening  the lives of seriously and terminally ill children from 1987. On the first year the company helped 4 children and have since grown rapidly helping over 500 000 children this year.

This charitable commitment by Cash Genie means that every time a customer signs up for a loan, they are asked whether they wish to donate 50p or more to the charity. Every time a customer agrees to this, Cash Genie will contribute £1 to Starlight. Cash Genie have partnered with Starlight to enable customers to donate through the Cash Genie website.

In launching the new charity partnership between Cash Genie and the Starlight Children’s foundation, the emphasis will be on fundraising to help fulfil children’s dreams. However this is one of two key objectives the charity is aiming to achieve in conjunction with ourselves. The second is to increase the number of dream requests, as this will also directly contribute to fulfilling more dreams in the future. Cash Genie hopes the new partnership will raise substantial amounts of money for Starlight and help raise the profile of this most worthy charity.
